Mary Annora Brown was a Canadian artist from Fort MacLeod, Alberta. She studied at the Ontario College of Art and taught at Mount Royal College, the University of Alberta, and the Banff School of Fine Arts. Her work, focused on local wildflowers and plants, was influenced by her surroundings rather than the Group of Seven. She authored and illustrated "Old Man's Garden" and created 500 paintings for the Glenbow Foundation. Brown was the first female member of the Alberta Society of Artists and illustrated children's books, exhibiting her work with several prestigious art organizations.
